Teas, Tours and Lunches

At Cherokee Ranch & Castle, there are many fun ways to experience the grandeur, architecture and history of this landmark Colorado destination.

Proceeds benefit the Cherokee Ranch and Castle Foundation to support our charitable mission to preserve the natural environment, enhance cultural life in Colorado and provide educational opportunities devoted to western heritage, wildlife and the arts.

Castle Tours
Step back in time at the Castle. This tour covers details of the Castle's history and architecture, as well as its unique furnishings and collections of art from around the world. The tour is punctuated with anecdotes and recollections of the families who built and inhabited the Castle since the 1920s.

Guided tours for adults and children (in fourth grade or older) are conducted on Wednesdays at 9:30 am, Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. and Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. Guided tours are $15 per person. English-Style Afternoon Teas
You'll be treated like royalty at our English-style afternoon tea. The tea includes scones with clotted cream and jam, finger sandwiches, pastries and sweets, as well as a tour of the Castle. It's the perfect event for clubs, organizations, bridal showers or for a special outing with family and friends.

English-Style Afternoon Teas are offered each Wednesday at 2 p.m.
Adults and children (in fourth grade or older), are welcome and the cost is $40 per person.

Private teas and tours are available by reservations only to groups between 20 and 40 guests.

Special Themed and Winter Holiday Teas
In addition to our weekly English-Style Afternoon Tea, we are pleased to offer the following Special Themed and Winter Holiday teas. These teas are scheduled around seasonal holidays and special events at the Castle, and feature special enhancements to our elegant weekly tea service. The cost is $42 per person and includes a Castle Tour. Reserve early! Seating is limited and these teas sell out fast!

Themed and Winter Holiday Brunches
Enjoy a themed or holiday brunch at out unique historic venue. Brunch includes three types of mini quiche, pastries, scones, fruit tray and beverages. After brunch, enjoy a guided tour of the Castle. The cost of is $45 per person.

Lunches
Relax and enjoy a private buffet lunch at the Castle. Lunch includes sandwiches, chips, green salad, fruit tray, dessert tray and beverages. After lunch, enjoy a guided tour of the Castle. In order to host this event, a minimum reservation for 25 guests and no more than 40 guests is required. Lunch is $45 per person.

Mystery Teas
For a unique combination of the 'Murder Mystery Dinner' and 'Afternoon Tea' concepts, experience the mysterious illusions of Dream Masterz. These world-champion illusionists deliver an hour-long interactive show consisting of a number of mini-mysteries involving illusion!

During this old-fashioned, adult-oriented 'WHO DUNIT' mystery, the audience members become part of the cast – and one of them is the murderer! You'll be on your toes until a psychic finds the culprit! The tea includes scones, finger sandwiches, pastries and sweets. You will be intrigued, entertained and amazed! Mystery teas are available by reservation only to private groups of 20 or more.

All reservations are subject to availability and requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the Castle property.
