Lovers, Mothers, Queens and Courtesans” Kathleen McCall (actress) and Kent Thompson (director) return for an encore performance at the 2007 Series. Kathleen McCall, from Douglas County, with acting credits on Broadway, film and television performs an entertaining and enlightening one-woman show of some of Shakespeare’s women—from the love struck Juliet to the guilt-maddened Lady Macbeth. Directed by Denver Center Theatre Company’s artistic director, Kent Thompson.

“VioLola” featuring Basil Vendryes and Linda Wang

Celebrated musicians Basil Vendreyes (viola) and Linda Wang (violin) present an intimate and inviting evening of duo works for the viola and violin.Vendreyes is the Principal Violist for the Colorado Symphony Orchestra and Wang is the newest violin faculty member at the Lamont School of Music. The program will include Handel/ Halvorsen’s well-known virtuostic Passicaglia, and the exciting, rhythmic Three Madrigals of Czech composer Martinu.

Quattro Mani featuring the Duo Piano Team of Alice Rybak and Susan Grace

Quattro Mani makes a return visit to Cherokee Ranch after a stellar performance in the 2006 Series. Founded in 1989, the duo has gained international recognition with both artists’ special interest in the vast repertoire for two pianos and the unique collaboration involved in this performance.
