Driving Directions to Cherokee Ranch and Castle

From Central Denver
DUE TO ROAD CONSTRUCTION AND CLOSURE OF A PORTION OF DANIELS PARK ROAD AND CASTLE PINES PARKWAY, THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO CHEROKEE RANCH AND CASTLE VIA CASTLE PINES PARKWAY (EXIT 188) OR TRAVELING SOUTH FROM GRIGGS ROAD.

Please take Interstate 25 South to exit 187 (Happy Canyon Road).  Turn right and continue to Highway 85.  Turn right on Highway 85 to Daniels Park Road.  Turn right again and proceed 1.3 miles.  Our entrance is on your left and is marked by stone walls and an iron gate with two cows on it.  Go two miles up the driveway and you will see the parking lot on your left.  The Castle is visible from the parking lot. THIS CLOSURE WILL BE IN EFFECT THROUGH 2008.

From West Denver
Take Highway 85 (Santa Fe Drive) South past Sedalia. Turn left on Daniels Park Road. Our entrance is 1.3 miles ahead on the left, and is marked by stone walls, an iron gate with two cows on it and a small sign. Go two miles up the driveway and you will see the parking lot on your left. The Castle is visible from the parking lot.

From Castle Rock and points South
Take Interstate 25 North through Castle Rock. Exit at Founders Parkway/Meadows. Go left, past the entrance to the Prime Outlets to Highway 85. Turn right on Highway 85 and continue North to Daniels Park Road. Turn right on Daniels Park Road, and proceed 1.3 miles. Our entrance is on the left, and is marked by stone walls, an iron gate with two cows on it and a small sign. Go two miles up the driveway and you will see the parking lot on your left. The Castle is visible from the parking lot.

Parking
Guests park in the main parking lot, which is located approximately 1,000 feet from the Castle. There is a drop-off point at the driveway gate where two ‘handicap’ parking spaces are located for your use.  However, in order to allow for emergency vehicles, no other parking is permitted in this area. Vehicle access is not permitted on any part of the cement driveway at any time. No overnight parking is permitted without special permission (when granted, access to your car will only be during normal Castle hours).
